Breaking: Customer Extremely Interested in the Stock You're Currently Moving and ONLY the Stock You're Currently Moving

A customer is extremely interested in that stock you’re trying to move right now, sources inform The Serving Times newsdesk. You may be experiencing slight work delays for the next few to several minutes as the customer decides if that is indeed the stuff they need.

Why the customer is interested in the stock currently stacked on your dolly and only that stock is not known at this time. We can, however, speculate:

“It may be psychological,” states behavioral expert Frances Mason. “She may be drawn to that particular merchandise for no other reason other than that you were trying to move it and it caught her attention, like shaking a string in front of a cat.”

“People just like being in the way,” says Geoffrey Hughes, a customer service worker and different kind of behavioral expert. “Makes her feel special that she can make you stop working just so she can look at shit. They like to feel that power over you.”

“Maybe she just wants to buy that stuff and you should chill out about it, god,” says nearby customer Natalie Bennett who we didn’t ask.

Whatever the reason, it seems you may just have to stand there and wait while the customer stands in your path, blocking your dolly and momentarily destroying your productivity and workflow. Perhaps you can slyly check your notifications or something. All we can say for certain at this time is that– oh shit, nevermind. She just left.
